Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of MyCompanyLookup.com and its services. The service is provided by Biz E-Agency Inc., a registered trademark of Biz E-Formations Inc., 1317 Edgewater Dr, Orlando, FL 32804, United States ("we", "us"). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

1. Who we are and what we are not

MyCompanyLookup is a technology company. We provide company search, monitoring and filing support tools. We are not a law firm, accountancy practice or government body, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House, HMRC or any other registry. Nothing on the site, including our guides, the voice assistant and company health scores, is legal, tax, financial or accounting advice. Take professional advice before relying on it for important decisions.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you register.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person or business may hold a limited number of accounts. Creating accounts to get around limits is not allowed.
• Business (B2B) accounts are for use by the named business and its staff.

3. Lookups and fair use

• Visitors and accounts have daily and monthly lookup limits, shown on the pricing page. A search or a company profile counts as one lookup; viewing the same one again on the same day is free.
• You must not use scripts, bots, scrapers, proxies, VPN rotation, multiple accounts or any other method to get around limits or extract data in bulk.
• We may block IP addresses, devices or accounts that break these rules, without refund.
• API or bulk access is available only under a separate written agreement.

4. Company data and accuracy

UK company data comes from Companies House and is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Data for other countries comes from, or links to, official registries and third-party sources such as OpenCorporates. We present this data as provided and do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Registries can be delayed or contain errors. Always check important information at the source.

5. Company Monitor

• Company Monitor watches the public register and sends alerts about changes and deadlines. Alerts depend on registry data and third-party services, and may be delayed or missed.
• Monitoring helps you act early but does not replace your legal responsibility, or your directors' responsibility, to file on time and keep company details correct.
• Monitoring is included with some lookup plans and available separately. Limits on the number of companies depend on your plan.
• The free trial covers one company for the stated period and is available once per account.

6. Filing services

• We prepare and submit filings on your behalf once payment and all required information have been received.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you provide, and for approving filings before submission when we ask you to.
• By giving us your Companies House authentication code, you authorise us to use it for the filings you order.
• Statutory deadlines, late filing penalties and tax liabilities remain the responsibility of the company and its directors. Order filings in good time; we cannot guarantee submission before a deadline if we receive information late.
• Some services (for example company formation, registered office, identity verification and bank account support) are provided by Biz E-Formations Inc. under its own terms.

7. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown on the site in the stated currency. Government and statutory fees are shown separately where they apply.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for each period and activated once payment is confirmed.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Unused lookups do not roll over.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
• We may change prices for future periods. We will give notice before a change affects an active plan.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• break any law, including data protection, anti-money laundering and anti-harassment laws;
• harass, stalk or intimidate any person named on the public register;
• file false or misleading information with any registry;
• attempt to access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access;
• upload malware or interfere with the site's operation; or
• resell, republish or build a competing database from our service without written permission.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its design, software, text, guides and the MyCompanyLookup name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Public register data remains subject to its own licence. Other company names, logos and trademarks shown on the site belong to their owners and are used only to identify them; their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

10. Third-party links and services

The site links to official registries, government sites and third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or terms. Redirects to other registries are provided for convenience.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Registry outages and service limits set by the official registers can affect searches and monitoring. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes to paid services.

12. Liability

• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
• We are not liable for loss caused by inaccurate or delayed registry data, by information you give us, by events outside our reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or business.
• Subject to the above, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
• If you are a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

13. Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the service, have unpaid charges or open chargebacks, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability and intellectual property) survive termination.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If a change materially affects a paid service you use, we will tell you in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
